In this episode, we give shout outs to John Wall, Gary Bettman and Phil Kessel. Biz prefers France and Luther College, while AC claims top spot in Guitar Hero arcade. Demar Derozan gets us excited and we share our fail-proof proline picks.

This week's episode features another heavy dose of the NFL, a brief chat about the pressures of playing hockey in Toronto, spoiler-free applause for Call of Duty's final mission, a new television series centered on fantasy football, DUI's and the SEC Championship game.
For the grande finale, we empty our mail bag and Biz admits to being both a Sens fan and a member of Team Jacob.

This one is short but sweet. We conquer unknown worlds, Washington, DC in 40 years, chirp Larry Johnson and Nate Robinson; all in 35 minutes...oh ya.. and we break down the NFL this week. Also, AC learns about an American Thanksgiving and Biz proves he has read the Twilight Saga.

I feel like some sort of abusive husband. I say that I am going to make all these great changes and then... well... everything stays the same. I do have a good excuse though (as they all do :) ) I've been busy teaching and coaching; surviving on canned pasta and stale coffee. Pity party; table for one.
My comrade and partner in crime, Biz, is also busy. As I type this, he is recovering from a pretty nasty surgery.
I want to podcast with Kyle immediately. He is more surly than ever and that tends to make for good radio! We have been trying to record an episode but our conflicting schedules and his predicament make for a frustrating, "maybe later" train of thought.
I know the die-hard Quarter Lifers (yup, just coined that) are getting crotchety waiting for Ep. 26. So am I. So is Biz. It's coming. We won't stop. Can't stop.
Look for a new episode by Thanksgiving. Oh, and if you want to know what I've been consuming (entertainment wise) then check our blog. Search: "Try something new".

Kanye and Serena Williams get honored as AQLC douches of the week. These are pretty douchy acts. See them here.

I was sitting in my chair last night and decided that I wanted to see how a 40 year old, interception throwing machine would fair in his final pre-season game before his regular season debut in a Viking's jersey. I was disgusted to see that Brett was trying to level the playing field by making others knees feel like his do...Read More.
Episode 25 is available now.
If you aren't listening to our show you should go watch "Inglourious Basterds". Just awesome.
Also, check out Matthew Good's latest single, "Last Parade". Good stuff.
What do Jean Claude Van Damme and Steven Seagal have in common?
If you answered: "they're both mentioned in Episode 24", then you would be 100% correct!
Biz is an editing genius. Episode 22 is available as promised. Click here to listen. For those who complained about the show's length; download it!
AQLC is moving to Mondays. Expect episode 22 to be posted Monday, July 20.

First of all, a big thank you to our host, webs.com, for being offline for 48 hours and preventing me from working on the site in any capacity. We appreciate all that you screw up for us.
Episode 21 was uploaded a few days ago... it finally has a description!
A lot has happened since I've last posted. Kobe is a champion. Don't really care.
Hope everyone is doing well. Fellow teachers rejoice - FIVE more days!

So... before Biz could finish editing the Frankenstein that Episode 20 had become, a special person (who shall remain nameless) spilled a beverage on his laptop and obliterated any possible hope of it being heard on this site.
Our sincerest apologies go out to our boy, Jon E., who took the time to record the show with us. We plan on having Jon on for another ep. as soon as humanly possible (if he will still have us).
Wait! I have good news. A NEW SHOW IS POSTED.
On Monday night, Biz and I recorded a new episode, which I've decided to dub numero 21. It is posted, edited and ready for your love.
Side notes: GO WATCH STAR TREK

It would probably be more fitting for Kyle to write this post, considering he is the one stuck editing the monster that is episode 20.
The problem? We recorded the show almost two full weeks ago with our friend Jon Edwards and something happened to the original recording. Kyle managed to salvage some of it but we need to re-record new material to complete the show.
The result: a mangled mess of audio that I left Biz to sort through. Please abide his tardiness. Otherwise he might ask me to start sharing the editing load (*shudder*)

Who does Biz want to captain his Enterprise? Listen to Episode 19 if you want the answer! ... streaming now on the podcast page!

If you listen to our show but get a bit lost in the sports jargon, you are not alone. Storytellers might be the perfect alternative for you. If you don't like Dave Matthews Band, then this episode might not be for you, but keep checking back for new material.
For those craving episode 19, fear not. Biz is putting the finishing touches on it as I type this. Expect it immediately.

By all rights, Episode 19 should be streaming as I type this. Unfortunately, conflicting schedules have proven to be this week's undoing. I was hoping that Biz would post our first edition of "Storytellers" but he is currently on vacation.
Before all fifteen of you snap on our boy, consider; editing these podcasts is an extremely tedious and difficult job (one that I gladly defer to him). Neither Biz, nor myself, are okay with releasing a product that is half done.
I can't speak for Kyle, but I am really excited about this new side project and I don't want to rush it. I think it's particularly special for me because it centers on the Dave Matthews Band; musicians that have helped shape my views regarding everything from love to poverty.
For those who don't know what I'm talking about, AQLC Storytellers will be a side-podcast that we plan on releasing every other week. It will be less rigid in terms of format. It's basically a 25-30 minute conversation that centers on a particular theme or idea. We intend to discuss just about anything... like I said, very little restrictions for this show.

Episode 18: AQLC debuts a third man on the mic in an episode jam packed with deliciousness. The Triple Entente / Three-Headed Monster take the time to bash T-Mac, ignore Biz, applaud Fast and Furious and give great safety tips (pizza on element = bad).
This episode brought to you by: energy drinks.
*Keep your eyes peeled for a new page; AQLC Story Tellers - Debuting ASAP.

Episode 17: This week's episode features both baseball and basketball! Much to the chagrin of Biz, we lay down some predictions for the Association's post-season AND we discuss an eleven-game-old MLB season. After patting ourselves on the back for our NHL expertise, I trick Biz into agreeing to see Terminator with me.
Side note: A big thank you to all those who have given feedback for the site, show and articles. Rest assured, we read every word and we are anxious to share your opinions in future shows! Speaking of future shows, the next four or five episodes should be "in studio" versions (thank goodness).
Keep your eyes peeled for a new editorial, "Red Card" by Jason King... all you footy lovers will most certainly dig his insight!

Episode 16: The Stanley Cup Playoffs are here! This week's show has the fellas team up to break down the ins and outs of the Western and Eastern Conference match-ups. We'll tell you which 8th seed has a better shot at getting out of the first round and why Kyle believes a Canadian team will make it to the final dance! The show closes with a review of Mr. Cent's latest addition to the videogame market.
Notes from the show: If you dislike the NHL, avoid this episode.
Comment on the episode. Now.
Kyle and I have also posted Western and Eastern Conference previews in our blog. If you want insightful, in depth (and ultimately inaccurate predictions), read up on the West. If you want the truth (in 50 words or less), take a gander at the East.
-Episode 15: This week your fearless hosts decide that the NCAA tournament was somewhat boring, share insulin shots and Cutler predictions and unveil a Blue Jays themed Heads or Tails extravaganza! (epic!).*Show will be up by 9:00 pm*
A few updates:
1) We had to delete episodes 4 through 9 to ensure that the site continues to stream at a half-decent rate. If anyone wants access to shows 1-9, e-mail us and we will send you the mp3 file.
2) New blogs are up

Episode 14: After renewing their vows, AQLC discusses the ups and downs of this year's NCAA Basketball tournament. Next, we celebrate ethnocentric portrayals in the Wii's Punchout and somehow manage to find the time to provide an in depth analysis of potential fantasy studs and duds for this year's baseball season. The show concludes with our biggest listener mail section to date!
Listen here.
Also, new blog-posts up. If you only read one, check out "A Prime Directive Established"
If you have read the aforementioned blog, you'll know that both Kyle and I are making a new commitment to consistency with AQLC. Now we need YOU to do us a favour.

In this episode we celebrate St. Patty’s Day, brag about correct NCAA predictions (and go on to make completely inaccurate ones), justify fighting in the NHL and read some mail from one of our more intelligent listeners.
Episode 14 should be out by Wednesday, March 25.
Thoughts on the tournament thus far:
Griffin, Blake.
That is all.
